It is a mesmerizing novel in which makes you embrace yourself while keeping you grounded and instills a perception within you, to think. In my opinion it’s definitely the most uplifting book.

The book topped the New York Times Non-Fiction Bestsellers of 2000. It is listed under ‘fiction, biographical fiction, philosophical fiction, and memoir.’
‘Tuesday’s With Morrie examines the interactions and phenomena between the human experience of living and dying’ , this is the best way to give the crux of the book without giving away much from the story. Transformation of two main characters is seen. Growth is observed and you don’t understand but you cannot help but grow with the characters.
This is the beauty of the book, it’s a simple story which leaves you with the wisdom of an old philosophy professor and how to adopt some of his greatest qualities in our daily lives. Most importantly the book encourages you to invest in people and your dreams.
This can also be considered a motivational book for cancer patients because it uplifts the soul.
3. “Wonder” :
A Perfect uplifting book for any book club which leaves you teary eyed.
This book teaches us to love with the most power and not get scared, rather shows how to grow out it. The author R.J. Palacio narrates the story of a young boy with a deformity but not in a typical way. As the readers don’t feel bad for the boy, rather end up learning from him.
The best part about the book is that it is not a medical journal based on the boy’s disability nor is it written in such a manner as to gain sympathy but leaves you with a strong yet a soft heart!
4. Life Of Pi:
The book is a fantasy adventure novel by Yann Marte. Falls under the genre of fiction with a very strong and moving tale of a young, Indian boy who survives 227 days in a lifeboat with a Bengali Tiger in the Pacific Ocean as the ship is wrecked.
‘Relativity Of Truth’ – the message in the beginning of the book which also serves as the main theme of the book.
The book can be summarized in three statements:

Rupi Kaur has been able to touch many hearts with her poetry collection complied in this book in 4 different chapters, each serving a separate idea but the main theme of the book is pain, grief and healing.
Milk and Honey puts you in a nostalgic position and makes you wonder how strong you are after overcoming all the dark times. To some it has acted as a teaching guide to avoid the pain by taking precautions as it shows what its like when the heart aches for someone. It has helped many hearts heal and see the light and start off fresh .

The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald is a favorite of old and young. As the author opens us to the tale of pure insanity in the imperfect life of a true lover, J.Gatsby. It’s a tale filled with passion, desire, romance and obsession.

An old classic by Harper Lee A child’s-eye view of racial prejudice and freaky neighbors in Thirties Alabama.
The theme of the book is very diverse and deep, as it addresses Southern life and racial injustice and disparity. Along with prevailing class difference back in that time. She has explored different forms of courage and compassion. By keeping a strong focus on the gender bias and unwritten laws.
